Egyptian archaeologists say that they have confirmed that there is a corridor above the main entrance inside the Great Pyramid of Giza, the largest of the Egyptian pyramids. According to experts, this is because different parts of the building do not absorb fine rays or cosmic rays equally and the amount of such rays in the interior is very low. With the help of maography technique, the experts noticed that seven meters above the main entrance of the northern part of the Great Pyramid, there is also a part where a huge pointed stone is placed. After this discovery, the researchers conducted further examinations using radar and ultrasound, after which a 6 mm wide endoscope was inserted through a very thin joint between the stones.

Zahi Hawass, an Egyptian archaeologist and former minister of antiquities, says the discovery of the corridor is a "major discovery" and people around the world will now know about it for the first time. He further said that the discovery of this corridor may reveal the secret of whether the coffin and tomb of King Khufu are still there or not.
